Доцент кафедры стилистики английского языка факультета английского языка Московского государственного лингвистического университета; директор Научно-методического центра социально-педагогических проблем образования глухих и жестового языка им. Г.Л. Зайцевой, региональный представитель Всемирной ассоциации переводчиков жестового языка (ВАПЖЯ), член Совета Региональной общественной организации Ассоциация переводчиков жестового языка, эксперт Всемирной федерации глухих по образованию глухих.
Область научных интересов: образование глухих, проблемы перевода, лингвистика жестовых языков, культура и история глухих, качество жизни глухих, стилистика английского и русского языка.
Автор более 40 научных и учебно-методических работ (включая: The beginnings of bilingual education for deaf children in Russia (with G. Zaitseva, T. Braudo), Deafness and Education, Vol. 22, No.2, 1998; The Changing World of the Russian Deaf Community (with M. Pursglove) in Many Ways to be Deaf, Gallaudet University Press, 2003). Автор, редактор, переводчик 5 сборников научных трудов конференций (включая: Linguistic rights of the Deaf (Materials of the Moscow International Conference on Linguistic Rights of the Deaf). Moscow, 2008; Deaf Children and Bilingual Education. M., 3argei, 1998). Автор, редактор, переводчик сборников статей: Современные аспекты жестового языка. M., 2006; За жестовый язык. M., 2014. Автор просветительских и публицистических изданий о глухих, учебного пособия: Русский жестовый язык и сообщество глухих. M., 2018; автор 16 учебных программ по жестовому языку, обучающих видеоматериалов по жестовому языку. С 2005 года – регулярные публикации научно-популярных статей в журнале ВОГ «В едином строю» по проблемам сурдопедагогики, истории и культуры глухих и жестовых языков; в том числе: Австралийское путешествие (обзор конференции TISLR), №4, 2016; Переводчики жестового языка в Европе. Associate Professor, Faculty of English, Department of English stylistics in Moscow State Linguistic University; Director of Galina Zaitseva Centre for Deaf Studies and Bilingual Education, regional representative in the World Association of Sign Language Interpreters (WASLI), Board member of the Regional Public Organization Association of Sign Language Interpreters, expert of the World Federation of the Deaf in Deaf education.
The sphere of scientific interests is: deaf education, translation and interpreting issues, sign language linguistics, deaf culture and history, deaf life quality, English and Russian stylistics.
Author of more than 40 scientific and educational works (including: "The beginning of bilingual education for deaf children in Russia" (with G. Zaitseva, T. Braudo), Deafness and Education, Vol. 22 (2), 1998; The Changing World of the Russian Deaf Community" (with M. Pursglove) in "Many Ways to be Deaf", Gallaudet University Press, 2003). Editor of 5 conference proceedings (including: "Linguistic rights of the Deaf" (Materials of the Moscow International Conference on Linguistic Rights of the Deaf), author, editor, translator, Moscow, 2008; "Deaf Children and Bilingual Education" (editor), Zagrei, Moscow, 1998. Etc.). The author of the collection of professional articles like "Modern Aspects of Sign Language", author, editor, translator, M., 2006 or "Za zhestovyj yazyk", Moscow, 2014. She wrote a students' manual "Russkij zhestovyj yazyk i soobshchestvo glukhikh", M., 2018 and is the author of 16 training programs on sign language teaching and Deaf related issues for students and numerous video materials on sign language. Since 2005 – regular publications in the VOG magazine "V edinom stroju" on the problems of deaf-pedagogy, history and culture of deaf and sign languages; including: Australian Travel (review of the TISLR Conference), No. 4, 2016; Sign language interpreting in Europe.
